Iowa City Tango Club is very pleased to announce that we will have the return visit of Enriqueta Kleinman on November 2008 for TWO consecutive weekends of extraordinary milonguero tango!--And the availability of Private and Semi-Private Lessons throughout her 2 week visit to SE Iowa.
Enriqueta is returning to America for a very limited engagement, and we are privileged that she loved her first visit to Iowa City so much that she said she "must come back!" Enriqueta will be teaching solo this visit. The workshop double weekend is being coordinated by Karen Jackson of Iowa City Tango Club, and Enriqueta's host, Ray Barbosa of Chicago Milonguero, Ltd.
Enriqueta is highly-trained, expert tango teacher who combines her painting background with her experience in teaching.
Enriqueta has dance Tango Milonguero Style for over 15 years. She performed at the Third and Fifth Metropolitan Championships in Buenos Aires. She has done a number of performances in Buenos Aires including at Salon Canning , Cachirulo (Maipu 444), and at the Confiteria Ideal at the First Milongueando Festival in Buenos Aires. She has been an instructor at Susana Miller's La Academia and presently teaches with Nestor La Vitola at Maipu 444.
Enriqueta is expert in Salon Tango - Milonguero Style, Tango Waltz and Milonga. Enriqueta also specialises in teaching technique for women and has led many courses and seminars.
The Iowa City Double Weekend Workshop is coordinated by Iowa City Tango Club Member Karen Jackson. Appearance by Enriqueta is sponsored by Chicago Milonguero, Ltd., Ray Barbosa.
Enriqueta will also be available for private and semi-private lessons all the days she is in Iowa--a great opportunity to hone your skills and continuity. Locations in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. Contact Karen Jackson for more details on private lesson opportunities.

NEWS FLASH 11-07-08 - The LOCATION FOR TUESDAY Practica/Lesson November 11, 2008 will be at Pete Abolins' House in Cedar Rapids (Senior Center is closed for Holiday). Pete has very graciously offered to hold the Tuesday practica/Enriqueta class at his home on Tuesday November 11 at the regular time 7:30-11:30. Cost for the evening is $15.00 per person.
