Special August 2008 Dinner and Milonga at Wesley Center
August 23, 2008

Friends,

Its only a week 'till the next tango milonga at Wesley! A slight
change this time: instead of bringing hors d'oevres let's bring food
that can suffice as a meal. August is THE good food time of the year.
We have little tables, silverware and paper plates here, so why not?
I'll make a big pitcher of lemonade. Eat, drink and be merry!
(Please, don't anyone stay away if you don't have time to cook,
though.)

It won't be any earlier - 7:30 pm per usual. Newcomers very welcome.
We're at 120 N. Dubuque Street in Iowa City (between Jefferson and
Market).

Judy, come celebrate your birthday. Adriana, come say good-bye. Elie,
we don't see you enough in the summer. Carol and Ed, we always love
to see you. Tim, welcome back from Florida. Greg, can you talk Jane
into coming? Juan, don't bring food, just a bottle of that wonderful
Malbec. Swing by Cornell! Dwight, I know you'll be here. Pete, come
on over, and bring that elusive Rosemary too; and Patricia and
Victor; and Josie and Henry. Carrie, Amy, Tom, you all used to be
regulars. Come back! We miss you. Alric, we promise not to ask you to
dance. Ali, Jean-Marie, it's not that far from Fairfield. Karen, I
hear you'll be in Chicago, so see you next time. David, if you are
well, show up. Dave, happiness makes you dance, and dancing makes you
happy. Terry, I know you'll arrive first. Way to have lots of
partners, eh what? Lindsay, Elizabeth, we've had more men dancing
than women lately. Shelly, if you show up we'll be here. Promise.
Mundy, you guys need a break from that line dancing. And what about
you old-time tango dancers like Takako, Kameron, Kate, Casey, Rachel.
This is a personal invitation. Well I know I can't personally invite
all 91 of you, but if I had time I would. Come! The more the merrier.
