Spencer Karl Wright

Spencer Karl Wright was born on June 8, 1974, in Price, Utah. He was raised in a small town of about 200 people called Clawson, Utah. He lived in the city of the town...right across from the post office. There are probably 2 stop signs in the whole town, which are to exit the town from either end! He is number nine of ten kids. There are eight boys and 2 girls. His family is very musical and all are wonderful singers. Spence grew up performing in plays and musicals. His senior year he played Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat." He attended LDS Business College after High School in Salt Lake. Then, he went on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Fresno, California. Afterward, he went to Europe for a month. He traveled to Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Italy...France was closed! :) He also spent 6 months teaching English in Korea.

Spence works as a computer programmer and database administrator. He moved to California to work there. One year later, I moved there, and six months later we met in Church. We went out twice and became really great friends. After being good friends for two months, we began dating. We dated for two years while living in Los Angeles. Then, we were married in the LDS San Diego temple. We went on a cruise to the Caribbean for our honeymoon. We lived in Los Angeles for the first two years of our marriage. Then, last year, we moved to Utah. We came to work for a law firm. They needed a database and Spence built one. He continues to customize it for them and takes care of all of their computer needs. I work as a legal assistant in the same firm. It is very fun to go to work together and see each other all day.

Spencer's best friend is the manager of the law firm, which is his dad's, so they are also working on an animation film that his best friend wrote. Spence loves doing that as well. Spence will also do the sound track for the movie.

We just bought our first home in October. It is a townhome in Draper and we love it. The neighborhood is great and we are so happy to own our first home.
