The pleasure of your company is requested at our 3rd annual Dancers Harvest Moon Ball hosted by The West Liberty Community Center on Saturday evening September 6th, 2003 from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Dance music will again be provided by The D.Anthony Big Band. All seats will be provided on a reserved basis. Make your reservations by replying to this e-mail. The ticket Price for all seats is $12.00 each. Your reserved tickets can be picked up and paid for at the gate on dance night.
This is one of our Major Dancers Events in 2003, so I sincerely hope many of your Club can attend. I will look forward to hearing from you asap.

Hello Dancers, The Dancers Year got off to a great start With a very succseeful New Years Eve Party at The West Liberty Community Center. Then things got slowed with Bad weather causing cancellation of our Valentines Sweetheart Dance on Feb 14th. To complicate things even more I developed health problems in February and the hospitalization and subsequent recovery made it necessary to Cancel one more Spring Dance date. Which brings us to the remainder of the year. We have some exciting things happening later this spring and summer. BENEFIT DANCE FOR "THE NEST OF JOHNSON COUNTY" MAY 2 AT THE EAGLES Starting off with a benefit dance for The "Nest of Johnson County". This will be held again this year at The Eagles Club in Iowa City on Friday evening May2 . This is a great cause ( helping New Mothers and their Babies get a good start) and DANCERS GROUP has sponsered this fund raising dance along with The Eagles Lodge for the last three years. All Dancers members are invited to attend as well as the general public by invitation only. WE are expecting a good crowd and I hope you Dancers will show up in good numbers to support the event as well as display to the public in attendence how much fun dancing is. THE D.Anthony Big Band will be providing Dance music all evening. This is going to be a GALA EVENT so don't be left out. Hello Dancers,
Well, Summer is certainly upon us. I was really happy to see so many of
you at the "Mid-Summer Night's Dream Dance" on the 22nd. It was a nice
way to kick off a summer of dancing. The band members commented to me on
how much fun everyone seemed to be having.
Our next dance event will be on Friday Evening, July 12th at The Eagles
Club in Iowa City. I hope everyone can join us for the first of our
Monthly smoke-free Dancers events. Doors open at 7:00 with dancing
from 7:30 to 10:30 PM. I will make sure the air conditioning is on.
Since the announcement of the formation of our new Dancers group, I have
had many inquiries as to just what it is and how it works.
First of all, everyone who receives this newsletter is automatically a
member (if they choose to be). The only criteria and obligation of a
member in good standing is the love of "dancing to live big band
music." There is no other cost or obligation. But, as a member of the
group, you will be the beneficiary of many benefits, including discounts
on the admission to our regular Dancers events, pre-public advance
notification of upcoming dances, Special "By Invitation Only" dance
events, and much more.
Dancers is not in competition with any of the dance club organizations.
In fact, I am offering special benefits to dance clubs and dance classes
(including instructors) who attend our Dancers events as a group.
MANY SPEAKING AS ONE
As a member of Dancers, you will be helping me and others who are
endeavoring to promote more dancing opportunities in the Cedar
Rapids/Iowa City area. Whether we are talking to a business
or politicians, numbers help make our (your) voice heard.
Join Dancers at the dance July 12th
There will be a registration table at the dance where you can join. Or,
just reply to this e-mail and I will make sure you get your membership
card by mail. Since you are already on the Dancers e-mail list, you can
receive your discount immediately on your admission to the dance. Just
print out this e-mail and bring it with you to the dance. Your regular
$10.00 admission price will be reduced to $8.00.
