Saturday, May 19, 2007--The 3rd Sat. of May
- In the AM - Private Lessons - $70.00 total -- for one or two people, maximum of 1 couple per lesson - 120 N. Dubuque - Iowa City (Wesley Center)--Contact Gail Ireland now for reservations
- NOON-1:15pm - ALL LEVELS- Achieving Elegance in Simple Movements & Understanding Floor Craft
- 1:15-1:30pm - BREAK
- 1:30-2:45pm - INTERMEDIATE - Using the Ochos to Dance Seamlessly to the Music & in the line of dance
- 2:45-3:30pm - LONG BREAK - Put your feet up, Rest or Practice
- 3:30-4:45pm - INTERMEDIATE - Moving our Ochos into Changes of Direction for a different dynamic. Pauses to allow the follower to adorn.
- 4:45-5:00pm - BREAK
- 5:00-6:15pm - ALL LEVELS - Musicality - Cute Milonga steps to haelp us keep up with the rhythm
- 6:15-7:30pm - DINNER ON YOUR OWN
- 7:30pm - 11:30pm - MILONGA - Argentine Tango Dance Party - Authentic Classic, Golden Age, and Modern Tango Music From CDs--TWO DJs!! - 1st half- "djgregk" - 2nd half - DJ Elie - Bring your Favorite Treats and/or Beverages!
NOTE: Nina strongly encourages both beginners, as well as dancers planning on coming to the Intermediate and Advanced Level classes, to take the NOON-ALL LEVELS - "Achieving Elegance in Simple Movements & Understanding Floor Craft" class. She will be introducing fundamental concepts in this class that she would like folks to have incorporated for the next classes which follow a logical progression.
Nina welcomes all levels of dancers into the more advanced classes, as long as they are aware that the material presented will be at a higher level and she will be teaching to the advanced dancers that are attending.
Cost for GROUP Classes (Per Person):
Entire Workshop and Milonga - $60.00
One lesson - $20.00 // Two Lessons - $34.00 // Three Lessons - $45.00 // Four Lessons - $55.00
Evening Milonga (Dance Party) - $5.00--You do not have to attend any classes to come to the Milonga.

Nina's vision of Argentine tango encompasses its entire spectrum, from dance to poetry, art, music and cultural significance.
For more than three years she lived in Buenos Aires, providing her with an intensive training ground for her tango while she absorbed the richness of the culture that now embodies her dance.
An accomplished leader and follower, Nina translates the intrigue of tango into a language that is accessible to all.
Emphasizing an intimate embrace and relaxed, organic body movement, she provides her students with a solid foundation in technique and dance structure. She encourages their creativity and the expression of their own unique personality in the dance.
Nina returns often to Buenos Aires with opportunities to teach and perform, and currently is based in the Chicago area as a teacher, dancer, choreographer and event organizer.
