Nestor La Vitola, Enriqueta Kleinman, Robert Carreras (Pocho) and Nelida Fernando (Nely) in Iowa City!

Iowa City Tango Club and Chicago Milonguero, Ltd., are very pleased to present FOUR extraordinary dancers and instructors for THREE days of great tango learning. Nestory y Enriqueta AND Pocho y Nely will be teaching in Iowa City, Iowa May 2-3-4, 2008

Roberto Carreras ("Pocho") and Nelida Fernando ("Nely"), milongueros ("dancers") from the golden era of tango, are from Buenos Aires, the city where they live and dance. The tango they transmit is based upon communication between dancers in a continuously close embrace, musical interpretation and respectful navigation in the dance floor. This is their first tour out of the South America.

Nestor La Vitola is one of the few remaining true milongueros and has more than 50 years Argentine tango dancing experience. Enriqueta Kleinman is a highly-trained, expert tango teacher who combines her painting background with her teaching experience. Enriqueta has danced Tango Milonguero Style over 15 years. Both have been instructors at Susana Miller's La Academia. Nestor has taught Argentine tango over 20 years.

Private lesson with Pocho and Nely - $100; requires a couple or a person with a partner.
(Ray Barbosa can partner for any woman that needs a man, if necessary)
