Abortion Services

We believe that reproductive choice is a fundamental freedom. Every woman has a right to determine the outcome of her pregnancy regardless of age, marital status, race, to make the choice that is right for her life circumstances. If that choice is to terminate the pregnancy, our goal is to provide quality services in a manner that supports the legitimacy of her decision, and maintains her dignity.

In addition to high quality medical services, abortion clients experience the clinics supportive advocacy system. An advocate, specifically trained in medical information and client support, is assigned to each client. The advocate accompanies the client from her arrival at the clinic, through the procedure, and to the recovery room. The advocate has two major roles. First, the advocate provides thorough medical information about the abortion procedure, potential risks and complications, after care following the procedure, and birth control information. Second, the advocate acts as a support person throughout the client's time at the clinic, answering any questions, and seeing to her physical and emotional comfort. Clients are also encouraged, but not required, to involve supportive friends, partners, or family members to accompany them through the procedure.
