Meat Market Sales Office

This brick building was built after 1932. Its purpose was for a sales room for the South Amana Meat Market. It served this function for about thirty years. After the Meat Market closed in the 1950's, this building became the Post Office for South Amana. It is still operating for the U.S. Postal System in this capacity.

Farm managers in this building also were in charge of the ice storage and distribution until that practice was discontinued.
