Nick & Ben: Double the Fun!

The boys are now 2 years old. They have migrated to the "big beds" and are doing very well. Grandma keeps trying to tell them that they are only a foot off the ground and they can get out whenever they want. Fortunately for Mom and Dad, they haven't picked up on this yet.
Nicholas is now fluent in english. He has started an online tutoring course for his cousin Casey. Benjamin has learned that force is equal to mass times acceleration. What he gives up in mass to Nicholas, Benjamin makes up in acceleration. We took the boys to their first cinematic experience, Toy Story 2. The boys loved it (they have the first one memorized, I know bad parents...). Their parents give it two thumbs up!

Thanks Santa!

Santa was very generous to the boys this year. I guess that dispels the old naughty vs. nice theory. They got a lot of nice loot from the grandparents too. A train set and and some big magna-doodles were big hits.

This isn't a PowerWheels!

If you saw the boys christmas letter to Santa, you know they asked for a PowerWheels like cousin Nicole got. Seems Benjamin was a bit disappointed.

Blues Clues Mommy!

The boys like all the educational television shows. They are both walking TV guides. Maisy, Blue's Clues, Spot, and Elmo are among the favorites.

Hello, Nicholas!

What kid doesn't love a TV remote or a phone? Here the boys are playing with their cell phones which are fully functional walkie-talkies.

Is this hat safety approved?

Tools and a big tool bench were a big hit this Christmas. Now if we can just make them pound the nails rather than each other!

Where frog go?

The great part about this Discovery toy is that the frog doubles as a duck call.

Check!

After a hard day of playing, the boys like to relax before nap with a quiet game of chess.

Think Snow!

Just don't let them see out the deck window, otherwise it is "Boys go outside!" Of course they won't wear their mittens so the 20 minutes of dressing them and the ten minutes outside blows a good half an hour.

Go Purdue!

Grandma and Mom say these are really Polo shirts. Dad insisted they were Purdue shirts until after the Outback Bowl game. How can anyone blow a 25 pt lead?

Happy Holidays!

From our family to yours, have a Great Y2K!

CHEESE!

No matter how hard mom tries, we won't wear socks.

Board Already?

Nicholas waits patiently for desert.
